Nike have annually celebrated Black History Month for over 10 years. With a series of iconic footwear launching every February, it’s become an exciting time of year for sneakerheads and Jordan fanatics.
2017 is no exception with another stylish collection to look forward to. The inspiration behind the pack is black and gold, symbolic of the rich and powerful legacy of black sporting athletes.
This ‘Grade School’ release looks especially good decked out in patent metallic leather with a glistening gold sheen. Contrasting overlays of black come engineered in 3M material for added sheen on those late nights.
All the conventional details feature including a swoosh across the sidewall, AJ logo and embroidered tongue tab. Finally, a contrasting white midsole sits underfoot and manages to balance that striking upper.
