The wait for the Jordan 11 Space Jam is nearly over.
It’s been almost two decades since NBA Hall-of-famer Michael Jordan graced our screens in the hit ’90s film Space Jam, along with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang.
Four years after that, the first Jordan 11 released causing furore in the sneakerhead community.
Nine years later, we saw the first retro in 2009 land, causing waves once more but since then we haven’t heard anything else.
It’s no secret that the Jumpman franchise has changed the footwear game for the better since its introduction, and the forthcoming heavily-anticipated Jordan 11 Space Jam is set to change it once again.
Unlike their counterparts though, the upcoming silhouette will bear Michael Jordan’s jersey number from the film (45) on the heel.
There’s a translucent outsole underfoot, as well as a white midsole. The upper features a combination of patent leather and mesh, along with black laces and straps on the sidewall to lock the foot down.
Blue Jumpman branding features on the heel and on the middle of the tongue in between what appears to be something written in Greek.
Look out for the Jordan 11 Space Jam to release on December 10 from the stockists on this page and keep an eye on our socials for those early links nearer the time.
