The Jordan 3 True Blue is set to go off when it re-releases in a couple of weeks time.
What makes this all the more exciting is the fact that we haven’t seen this silhouette make an appearance since 2011.
The Nike Air Jordan 3 is undoubtedly one of the most popular to come from the Jumpman brand and has been a favourite in the game since its introduction in 1988.
Unlike the previous renditions of the retros in 2003, 2009 and 2011, which didn’t feature the ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel and instead had the Jumpman logo, the forthcoming edition will return to its roots and proudly sport the ‘Nike Air’ motif on it.
It’s for the reason stated above that many avid sneaker enthusiasts suggest that the upcoming Jordan 3 True Blue is “technically” only the second time it’s been released.
The upcoming Jordan silhouette boasts a white leather upper with signature elephant print on the toe box, heel and lace stays, as well as fire red eyelets, Jumpman branding and lining on the tongue.
Underfoot is a grey outsole, white midsole and true blue mudguard. The same true blue runs throughout the silhouette – appearing on the Nike Air motif on the reverse, on the lining of the shoe, and on the upper.
The release date for the Jordan 3 True Blue is November 25 where it will be available from the stockists on this page.
